Jacinth

Jacinth, also called hyacinth, is the old name for orange to reddish zircon. 777 gives it to Sagittarius's path, and Agrippa gives hyacinth to the Sun and Jupiter, saying it makes the wearer safe and welcome and cheers the mind. Travelers carried it against danger.

Uses

• Safe travel
• Welcome and good fortune abroad
• Cheering the spirit
• Wisdom and protection

Working with it

Carry jacinth on long journeys or when moving into unfamiliar company. Before setting out, hold it on a Thursday with a purple candle and ask for safe roads and open doors.
