The Lesser Spheres
The Planets
The seven classical planets are the seven lights the ancients could see moving against the stars. Each rules a day of the week, a metal, one or two signs, and a sphere on the Tree of Life, and each lends its power to a different kind of work.
Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto were discovered in 1781, 1846, and 1930, too faint for the old traditions. Modern astrology gives each a co-rulership alongside a classical ruler. They're listed here with the others: the Sun and Moon first, then the planets outward from the Sun.
