The Lovers
Tarot cardIn 1 Signature1 tradition
The Lovers is trump VI: two figures beneath an angel, between the tree of life and the tree of knowledge. It is love, but more deeply it is choice: the union that comes from choosing with your whole self. It is Gemini's card, the twins who must decide together.

Working with it
When torn between two paths, write each on a slip of paper and set them on either side of the Lovers on a Wednesday. Read each one aloud, then sit quietly and notice which you feel pulled toward. Choose that one, and say so out loud.
