Samael is the angel of Mars and Tuesday in the Western grimoire tradition: a fierce angel of strength and severity. In Jewish lore he is also the accuser and the angel of death, a figure to approach with respect.

Working with it

In Western practice he is called on only for courage and protection. On a Tuesday, light a red candle and ask for strength in a specific battle, then put the candle out yourself when you're done.
