Elephant
AnimalIn 1 Signature2 traditions
The elephant is strength joined to wisdom and memory. Agrippa gives it to Jupiter for its stately nature, and in the Golden Dawn it sits on the paths of Libra and Yesod. In India it is Ganesha, remover of obstacles and patron of beginnings.
Uses
- Removing obstacles
- Memory and wisdom
- Steady strength and dignity
- Good fortune at new ventures
Working with it
Call on the elephant when something stands in your way. Place an elephant figure with its trunk raised on your altar on a Thursday, light a blue candle, and name the obstacle aloud. Ask for the patience to move it rather than the force to break it.
