Wolf

The wolf is a pack hunter and a teacher: loyal to its own, fierce to threats. Agrippa places it under Mars, Saturn, and the Sun (the 'spotted wolf'); the Golden Dawn puts it on the paths of Mars and Scorpio. It was sacred to Apollo, Mars, and Odin.

Uses

• Protection and loyalty
• Courage and instinct
• Teaching and guidance
• Strength of the group

Working with it

Call on the wolf on a Tuesday when you need to defend what is yours or find your people. Visualize a wolf circling your home at dusk, then joining you on the path ahead. A red candle and an image facing outward suit protection work.
