Lapis lazuli is deep blue flecked with gold pyrite, mined in Afghanistan for six thousand years. It colored the eyebrows of pharaohs and was ground for the ultramarine of medieval paintings. 777 gives it to Jupiter's path, and Agrippa gives the 'lazuli stone' to Venus.
