Water

Water is the element of emotion, intuition, and the unconscious: it flows, receives, reflects, and cleanses. It is cold and moist, sinking, and receptive. In the zodiac it rules Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces; in the Tarot it is the suit of Cups.

Call Water in the West with the chalice filled with water or wine. Ritual baths, moon water (water left under the full moon), and scrying in a dark bowl of water are its core practices. Pour an offering into a river or the sea to release grief.
